Apple iPod touch 64GB (Launched Sept 2009)

Fantastic little thing!, 2010-08-24
I bought this after much deliberation and am so pleased that I finally caved in and bought it. It is beautiful and shiny and so much fun. The apps are great and I like the fact that I can check emails etc whilst on the move. Also bought and iTrip and being able to listen to my playlists whilst in the car is great.
Well worth the money, plenty of storage and audio books sound great.

Apple iPod classic 160GB - Black

I've been looking to replace my 80g iPod as it's full up and I still have about 500 vinyl albums left to digitise. Getting the 160g seemed a no brainer until I read some of the comments about low sound levels. Before parting with my money, therefore, I went to a well known retail chain where iPods are on display and can be tested. I took my own headphones (Sennheiser CX 400 II) which have tight fitting 'in ear' ear-pieces and, crucially, a built-in volume control. With these I found no problem with the sound levels. Yes, the levels are a little lower. With my 80g I usually had the headphone volume on the minimum setting. With the 160g I had to move it up to about half way to achieve similar sound levels but I couldn't take maximum volume, that was deafening. So, with a decent set of headphones the reduced sound levels should not be a problem. So, with my new iPod now only being half full instead of completely full, I have no hesitation in giving this 5 stars. It's a beautiful little piece of kit which will enable me to carry my whole album collection on something not much bigger than a cassette (and I remember my first Walkman, and pockets bulging with cassette tapes!)

Best Mini Audio Player ever, 2010-08-29
I have a lot of audio players to compare this one. The basic idea of a player is to play any type of audio material. The next is to have an extraordinary audio quality. And the next one is to a have a convenient size to carry anytime everywere. If you are looking something like that then GO FOR Sansa Clip+. My personal experience is that this mini player is a miracle player I am totaly satisfied from that small player and if you Rockboxed then you have the real miracle ALL audio files player
