Love it. I wanted something to use on a run and whilst travelling. It's small, compact and easy to use. You can organise your music into albums, artists, songs, genres and you can even rate your favourites too. I wanted plenty of space as I was travelling to Australia, so I got the 8GB version. I like the small window (recommended) so you can see what is playing and the "hold" button, so that the your settings e.g. volumn will not alter should you accidently move the button. I was so impressed that I bought 2 others for presents. [I have not used the FM radio]

I tentatively bought this as a birthday present for my 70 year old Dad, the first MP3 he has ever owned, and we were both really impressed. I was a bit worried it would be too small a screen or too complicated to use but it's perfect!

I easily loaded music and a few photos onto it via my PC file manager. None of the faff I get with synching with iTunes, etc, just cut and paste from my file manager.

I followed a great tip from other reviews and made sure I selected the 'Rest of the World' rather than 'Europe' on initial setup and found the sound very clear and plenty loud enough with loads more room to crank it up if needed. The UK/Europe settings make the sound too quiet (damn health and safety police!) and on a busy street you would struggle to hear your music. Dad has now road tested it in a room with 6 screaming grandchildren and reported it easily drowned them out! The earphones are conservative but really comfy and good quality sound.

My Dad reports he is really pleased with his MP3; with the size of the screen, easy to manipulate and navigate controls. He was listening to his music within minutes of unwrapping it all. I may well give my iPod shuffle to my daughter and buy one of these for myself!

I bought this after updating my sony camera only to find that the SD card was a different shape to the old memory stick type. This is great to add the new one to and just as easy to use as the memory stick, fits into my laptop perfectly. The price was really great too.

This is pretty easy to set up. the only minor hitch comes in disconnecting it when you keep getting warnings that you hadn't correctly stopped it. However, there is a complete lack of user instruction. I am taking it on faith that it really will work as a back up. Certainly you can see all the files and the incremental back up is fast.

After much searching, I discovered the Sandisk Extreme IV here. At first, I thought it must be the slower version, because of the price. However, when it arrived I saw it was the latest type and it performs superbly in my D700. I think you need a UDMA enabled camera to make this a worthwhile buy.
