Bought this 4Gb card in June 2008 to go with my Canon 400D on a European cruise thinking I would need more storage than my existing SanDisk Extreme cards (1 and 2 Gb) but the speed of the Ultra both on camera and transfer speed to computer (Mac) was light years ahead in terms of speed. I'll sell the Extremes and upgrade to Ultra.

Having tried and been disappointed by many small MP3 players i.e. Apple, Sony and Creative, I bought the Sandisk Sansa and Creative EP-630 earphones combo based on comments from owners reviews.
I have only had this MP3 player a couple of days but first impressions are what a great piece of kit! Looks good, very easy to use, for once even the drag and drop on tracks is straightforward, the radio works OK over the hills in the wilds of the Midlands, great overall sound quality on music especially when you set up the EQ to your taste and finally it is so light you don't notice it is clipped on to the running kit.
I did try the standard earphones and the sound performance was fair to good but the heads seem a bit on the large side for my ears but the Creative phones are definitely a class apart. They fit well and give me all the great sound response I can handle.
My only concern is going to be the durability of the removable belt clip having sufferd many clip failures on my old Creative players that use a similar clip design so I hope Sandisk keep them as spares.
In summary, if anyone wants a tiny high quality MP3 player at a relatively low cost then they can't go far wrong with the Sandisk Sansa MP3 coupled with the Creative EP-630 earphones.

Just recieved it today and have already used it successfully. It is definitely faster to download files onto it than the USB cable that comes with phones. Works well with my Nokia6120 classic. Aso got a 2 GB and works fine as well.

Not everyone, I know, but there are an astonishing number of pedants out there. Not 8GB? Just like that 80GB HDD in your PC isn't 80GB either if you calculate in binary; you might as well blame Microsoft or Apple quite honestly. The packaging for this product clearly defines a gigabyte as one million bytes, and that is the industry norm for data storage.

This works really well; it's not my first and I certainly appreciate the U3 software not least for my ability to run Firefox with all my regular bookmarks on just about any PC going. Two gripes with this latest model though. The first is that the USB connector is too tight, I'm just hoping that it will loosen a little with age. That's the important one. The second is the change to the appearance; I liked the matt 'grey' finish to the sides and aren't so keen on the latest polished titanium which looks cheap by comparison.

This is still the strongest most sensibly designed dongle out there; the only reason you might wish to pass it by is knowing that the 16GB version will be with us before too long now.

I bought mine from Flash Memory who say that they supply from the United Kingdom; however it arrived from quite another company out in the Channel Islands. I wasn't asked to pay duty but suspect that I could have been so beware.

The first thing you notice about this memory 'card' is the fact that its smaller than a postage stamp and could be lost in a deep carpet!
I bought this for my sony ericsson k800i and, for the doubters, it does with this phone!
The only problem with it is that you can fit around 1200 tracks at 128kbits/sec, and when there are this many tracks on the card, that when you want to play one track on the music player function on the k800i, it takes 45 seconds from selecting the track to the phone unfreezing and actually playing the track, and thats with only 1.8GB taken up by 580 MP3s! When playing an artists music or an album the phone runs at normal speed.
Nowadays 4GB cards arent expensive any more. if your phone can take an M2, check its maximum memory card capacity and if it takes up to 4GB, buy this card!

One other thing, when filling up this card on my k800i it took the disc2phone mp3 transferring and recoding program about 4.5 hours to put the 1.8GB of music onto the phone. Leave the computer to do this overnight with 3GB+ of songs.

I have been using this for two months and so far has been fast and stable. It has operated reliably in both capture and uploading to computer when used for short shoots, or for intence ones which use up most of its capacity in two or three days. I have been shooting 4.5 Megabyte pictures, so the card has been demonstrating reliability in handling large quantities of files.

I did find I did have to use a shorter USB cable betwen my camera and the computer. My Sandisk extreme Memory Stick .. also in the Sony R1 I was connectnig with 8 feet of cable over a two yeear period with no glitches. This card, however required no more than four feet. To what extent this is pertaining to size of memory or to type of memeory I do not know.
