Sandisk 2GB SD Card, 2009-12-15 Good value, generally reliable and with a very usable read/write speed. SD Cards are not indestructible, so always have a few mid size ones rather than one really big one (ask any pro photographer); this is an ideal size and price. I always carry two or three spares.
Sandisk 2gb Ultra, 2009-11-12 The Ultra tag is given to SD storage cards that write at higher speeds than ordinary SD cards. They do in fact in my (limited) experience, write quicker. On getting my new camera and new card I swapped between standard card and Ultra card, and the camera writting to the Ultra card was much quicker. Most of the time it would not be an issue, but if shooting multiple shots, it's useful not having to wait so long between those shots. Be warned though, not all equipment works with the new Ultra format. Being a Sandisk, it's a brand you can trust.
Beware, pictured goods aren't what's being sold..., 2009-11-08 Firstly, the product that turned up works fine though I'm not sure if the read/write access speeds are what are claimed (not tested).
The issue I have is that the product that turned up had two distinct things wrong with it:
1) It does not look like the product advertised. Specifically, I purchased this one as the picture looks exactly like a true SanDisk product (I have an existing one that I used to ensure that I wasn't buying a fake...). The product that turned up looks distinctly fake.
2)The product that turned up had no packaging, and was just in a small plastic SD card case. This coupled with the former definitely makes me think it is a fake.
As I said above, it works fine, but I have no idea as to whether it works as well as my authentic SanDisk product. Would advise others to try and buy directly from Amazon and not a third party seller, if they are wanting a 100% authentic product.
Sandisk 2GB Ultra II 15MBS Secure Digital SD Card, 2009-11-09 I'm not technical nor am I a camera fanatic. I chose this card to hold my precious, never to be repeated moments in time based on reviews I had read and the exceptional price tag attached. I don't know whether a cheaper card would have performed equally as well but I do know that this card performed admirably, reaching up to my high expectations. Would I buy the same card again or chance a cheaper alternative? That's a 'no brainer for me, the Sandisk 2GB Ultra II 15MBS Secure Digital SD Card wins every time!
Genuine Product, 2009-12-13 I was a little skeptical buying this online, but it turned out to be pleasurable experience. I have a Nikon D50, and this card performs fabulously on the burst mode. Very little lag while writing or reading from the card. when put in my laptop to read , the laptop reads the data close to 14 MB/s. Thats not bad this price. Very impressed! Recommended.
