Simply the best, 2008-09-22 Comment: Without doubt one of the best Compact Flash card readers in the world. SanDisk make the fastest CF cards, so you'd expect them to make a equally fast reader.
It's fast, and if you're transferring lots of images from your camera to your computer then this will shave off minutes in that boring, waiting around transfer time.
Only beaten by their latest model the SDDRX3-CF-A31. But that's more expensive and impossible to get in the UK at this time.
You don't really need to use the CD at all. Simply plug it in and Windows will recognise it within seconds.
The CD just installs a program that waits for you to press the Button which will transfer the images to a location on your computer with little fuss. I never use it personally as Windows simply mounts the device as a drive and opens it for you any way!
Fantastic Value, 2008-07-07 Comment: I was having major problems transfering pics from my DLSR to my laptop so I brought this & Wow It's super fast! 4GB of pics transfers in just a few minutes
You wont regret buying it

Small, fast and hassle-free, 2006-04-06 Comment: I've used it with a SanDisk 1Gb card on both Windows2000 and SuSe Linux 9.3 . In both cases, no drivers were required (unless you want the use the button gimmick, which is quite pointless), and the reader was recognised instantly. Data transfer was quick, as you would expect from USB2.0 . Size is quite small - about the size of 2 CF cards - so it's easy to bring on holiday. The USB cable supplied is approx. 1.5 metres giving plenty of flexibility attaching it to the PC. Overall, very pleased.
Does the job fine, 2006-02-06 Comment: A good product, which does it's job well. It isn't particularly solid, but it doesn't need to be hewn from steel for it's purpose and it's made well enough. Works perfectly well, and is recognised by Windows XP without needing to install any driver (one is supplied for 98). Not a lot to remark on really. Does the job.
The supplied Media Card Companion isn't quite so impressive though. Works well enough but lacks finish. E.g. on my system the letters for the directory to save to don't fit into their box on screen. Also, changing the 'save folder' them doesn't seem to stick. However, you don't really need this app anyway, and you can access the CF card as another drive so you can just move the files around using Explorer. The MCC app is a typical bundled app that gets you started but you probably grow out of fairly quickly.
Plug n play, 2005-07-27 Comment: If you have windoxs xp then just plugg this little ScanDisk in to your USB 2 plugg and off you go. Works fast and without any problems. Feels so much better using this flash adapter then plugging my actual Nikon D70s into the computer
