Store all your Virtual Console/Wiiware games & saves on it no problem. If you're fed up with deleting things to make room for something else I'd get this.
Solution for storing downloaded games, 2010-05-28
In case you download games from the Wii Shop Channel or Channel downloads this is real great.
If you are expecting to use this for your saved games and stats this is no good.
Perfect storage for wii, 2009-12-27
The SD card does what it is supposed to do, and brilliantly at that. I have had no problems with it at all. In the end though, it is just the same as any other SD card...nothing special. You can even use a micro SD card if you want.

It does the job of increasing the capacity of the Wii.
Not sure I had to buy the branded version and it is more expensive. However, I could not find anything to say a generic card would be OK.
