Comment: I purchased a Sandisk MobileMate approx 2 weeks ago, it arrived in a couple of days which was great. After following all the instuctions it failed to work on my MS computer. I then proceded to try it on various other computers, four in all, it failed to work on any of them. I sent it back for a replacement, which arrived one week later. Once again the replacement did not work. I contacted Sandisk for an answer to what's wrong with their product but they have not come back to me. I would NOt recommend buying this product, it's been an absolute waste of my time and money.
MOBILEMATE SD CARD READER - It may be cheap, but caution needed, 2008-04-09
Comment: While I can get this reader to work intermittently on my laptop, it will not work on either of my XP desktops. Both desktops recognise the MOBILEMATE SD CARD READER when plugged either into a hub or directly into the USB card, but when the SD card is inserted into the MOBILEMATE SD CARD READER the system crashes and an I/O failure message appears.
The correct method of plugging the SD [etc] card into the reader is not obvious and the instructions that come with the device need a magnifying glass to read.

Comment: Started using this product this morning. Really fast transfers, nice size, feels quality. And it's a nick black matte colour. Goes well with my macbook :)
Not much else to say on the product. It does what it says on the box and it does it well.
