Comment: I'd have liked it in black but could only find white...
and I'd have liked to have been provided with a second cap, one to cover the MSPD card and the other for over the USB connector.
Part from that it is a great reader/writer and recommended if, like me, you hate using the cables that came with your camera.

Comment: This just arrived this morning, but I have to say I'm a little disapointed... not with the actual reader function of the device, that works perfectly, but rather I am disapointed with the practical function of the reader, not to mention Amazon's description.
The description above for the reader states "Keep a memory card in the reader and use it as a USB Flash Drive". Unfortunately, this isn't really possible as the memory stick only fits halfway into the tailend of the device. This means when you transport it about you either have the memory stick exposed (and they are very fragile if bent) or put the cap over the card and leave the usb plug exposed to all the lint in your pocket!
I have a similar Kingston TravelLite reader for SD cards I purchased a while ago and this lets you click the card all the way into the device and then has a shutter to cover the card slot and a separate cap for the USB plug... come on SanDisk, what are you playing at?

Comment: This is a great liitle card reader. I take it everywhere. I use it for downloading photos from my SD Card to my nearest computer. It just plugs right into any available USB port and away it goes.
I have used MicroMate USB for a year now and this is the best I have with me on holiday to transfer pictures from memory card and to a computer.
I have bought this for my parent so they use on there holidays to and now we cant bee without SANDISK MICROMATE.
