Best wireless keyboard I have owned, 2010-07-08 Having been in the IT industry for almost 10 years and using a computer for 8+ hours a day, a good ergonomic keyboard is a must.
I've been usiung this for 2 months and it has not disapointed.
I have previously owned 3 wireless keyboards by Microsoft and Logitech and this is by the far the best. It never loses signal like some, even as a gamer when holding down a key for minutes at a time eg:SHIFT to Run, or pressing multiple keys together.
In terms of ergomonmics while typing i have never used a better one, the only one that comes close is the original wired Microsoft 'split' Natural keyboard and that relied on adapting your typing if you used another keyboard. Which was a problem this neatly sidesteps that problem.
The subtle 'wave' of slightly recessed keys for your longer fingers works like a charm. I'm amazed no one else has had this feature yet.
The software that allows you to configure the media and shortcut keys is easy to use (though you should download the latest version from the Logitech website) and allows you to customise these buttons to do almost anything. eg: open a program, a series of keypresses and more.
Finally a great feature is the tiny USB reciever which allows you to connect to other compatible logitech devices and barely protrudes from the USB port.
I would thoroughly recommend this keyboard to anyone. The only bad thing I could mention is it's footprint which is large, so anyone with a small desk may not like it.
Logitech K350 Wireless Keyboard, 2010-05-05 I've had this keyboard for just over a fortnight and it's awesome.
Very positive feel to it and typing is so much easier, a lot less typo's
I would definately recommend buying this product.
Logitech Keyboard which works well, 2010-05-15 I treated myself to a Laptop as I hate the keyboards on there plus the touchpad so I decided to buy this wireless Logitech Keyboard and a separate mouse but went with this one because of the Nano receiever which is 'Unifying', which means you can have up to 6 items on ONE reciever which is great because it only takes up One usb port for severel items, plus you never have to keep removing it from the Laptop because it only sticks out 5mm at most and unless your totally abusive you should never catch it and break it off.
I would install the disc with the Keyboard (called set point) as this offers the choice of customising everything attached to the Nana receiver from here and it very easy to use. The keyboard itself is called the Wave and is definately different in looks and is supposingly designed to the shape of our fingers for ease of typing, mainly touch but I think the actual press of the key may be too clunky for touch typists (I'm a 2'3'4 finger person myself and am happy with it) but having said this it IS ergonomically contoured just right. The functions of the keyboard are of a plenty and should suit most peoples needs.. You can access from standard such things like 'Media Centre'..'Media Player'..'Web cam'..'Calculator'..'Zoom internet' pages and 'turn off' computer button, but you can change these if you want.. You then have access to ALL the F buttons to alter also, plus 3 spare should you need them.. in other words.. you can change just about every button on it to suit your needs. It comes with Batteries supplied and fitted, all you do is pull out the plastic tag and away you go , there's even a battery check meter, and talking of the batteries, they last an astonishing 12 months... thats brilliant.. I've had the original batteries in 6 months so far and they are still 55% so it looks like the claim is accurate.
There's a wrist pad on the front edge of the keyboard which is nice and comfy and is not showing signs of any wear yet and overhaul the board is very well contructed so should last a good long while. As to distance (which some seem to think it has to reach Mars) it will work no problem at 12/15 feet away but why anyone would want to work that far from the computer screen is beyond me, and even if they were using their TV screen you are very rarely more then 8 ft anyway.
If your looking for a wireless keyboard whith LOTS of operating systems, ease of use..light to carry around...then this will suit the bill, plus it actually looks great.
Sticky Keys, 2010-05-31 We've had this keyboard for over a year now and hate it.
The letters quickly rub off with a lot of use, and the keys are so sticky, mis-typing is a constant problem.
It's put me off Logitech completely.
I'm looking to shift back to Microsoft which, I can't believe I'm saying this, is much better quality.
The best keyboard I have ever typed on, 2010-02-05 As the title suggests this is the best keyboard I have ever typed on, every thing about the keyboard is perfect- I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who owns a computer!
