MZ-E310s MINI DISC PLAYER IS NOT RECORDABLE.
Very Happy!, 2009-08-03 I bought this product as I already have a Technics MD player as part of my system but no facility to listen to my Mini-discs elsewhere. I was glad the player was well protected in packaging on arrival and ripped at the parcel straight away. For those who remember the first personal MD players I can offer re-assurance that the battery is not the huge re-charge type, - 1 x AA battery is all you need and this lasts a very long time! The build is delicate on the inside but then MD players are delicate. The sound quality is very good and there are some very useful features - for the price I almost seem compelled to buy another just in case Sony stop making them, - I love it, - it's a great little product!!

sleek small kind of like your minidisc - funny that, 2005-09-19 People keep harping on about how small it is. Do you have eyes can you not see, can you not read. This case is designed to look after your minidisc if you're looking to hold your minidisc collection aswell you probably will be dissapointed unless your minidisc is wafer thin. Mine an MZ-NHF800 hogs all the space I tried once to keep a minidisc in the case with it but it looked like it was going to split a seam so I took it out. Whats the deal with the complaint about not being able to keep your remote in the bag? Thats like duct tapping you tv remote to the tv and getting up to change channels? yes its small but so is your minidisc that part of the reason you bought it I'm sure so lets keep it small then. If you're looking for a tog bag to keep you noise cancelling sennheiser headphones and your left over MCdonalds chips in you're in the wrong place but if you want protection for you minidisc this is perfect and it sits unobtrusively on your belt. If you're shopping for a humvee don't buy a daihatsu and complain about boot space.

Sony MZRH1B Hi-MD digital audio player and recorder, 2010-03-06 I was very wary about getting a new mindisc player because of my difficulties using a Panasonic one that I purchased 9 years ago. I have been pleasantly surprised with Sony's latest. I principally bought the player to record my trumpet playing using a Sony microphone that I had been 3 years ago. The old Panasonic minidisc produced terrible qualities of recording with significant sound distortion.
I have been using the linear PCM recording mode, which has produced fantastic results. I have also made recordings from YouTube by plugging in the player to my computer. I am extremely impressed. One does not have to have 1GB Hi-MD discs to enjoy Hi-MD. I have been using 80min MD's, which allow aopproximately 28 mins recording in the linear PCM recording mode.
The battery life is also very impressive. If one is serious about recording, I would highly recommend this minidisc player.

Perfect for Sony MZ-NH1, 2005-08-23 Whether it is suitable for your MD player depends on the size of the unit you have. I recently purchased the Sony MZ-NH1 - not only is it easy to fit in the main pouch but you can also fit the remote inside the side pocket and, there is still space in the main pouch for a spare Hi-MD disc. There is also room for ear plugs if you so wish. It doesn't have a belt clip (although I guess it is easy to buy a strong crocodile type clip if you so wish) and the belt loop is fairly large - it could probably fit around a small childs arm!

Amazing value, 2009-07-19 This is an amazingly low priced device. The sound quality is not the highest hi-fi, but easily surpasses what you should expect at such a price.

Sony MZ-B10: Safe Digital Archives., 2005-12-30 I use my Sony MZ-B10 MiniDisc Recorder to archive the recordings of all my university lectures and seminars which have been made on my Sony ICD-MX20 Digital Recorder. As with all Sony systems, these units have been designed to compliment each other and to give professional results. The output from the MZ-B10 is excellent, the unit is well made, and it has survived the rigours of two years of college and university life without a problem. A typical piece of Sony equipment, superb reliability and build quality, and easy to use!

The most beautiful music player?, 2005-08-25 Minidisc may be getting a little forgotten as iPods become ubiquitous, but the NH1 really should be grabbing back the limelight. It's simply a beautiful item - the magnesium body is good to the touch, warming comfortably to hand/pocket temperature, also strong and solid, more than any other Minidisc player. Add a spec that can play and record in either NetMD or Hi-MD disc formats, and a mic input too, and this music player can do more than an iPod. Be different than the iPodders out there, and go 'retro' with this excellent Minidisc unit. It's a very special Sony.

SONY MD WALKMAN, 2005-05-07 Got this today and am really pleased with it, small size and good sound quality. Feels well made and comes with a dinky carry pouch. (Could do with a belt clip though). All the functions are clear and the inline remote does the basics. Sound quality is very good and volume can be increased via the inline remote stick. Brilliant price for such a quality product.
