Sony MZ-B10: Safe Digital Archives., 2005-12-30 I use my Sony MZ-B10 MiniDisc Recorder to archive the recordings of all my university lectures and seminars which have been made on my Sony ICD-MX20 Digital Recorder. As with all Sony systems, these units have been designed to compliment each other and to give professional results. The output from the MZ-B10 is excellent, the unit is well made, and it has survived the rigours of two years of college and university life without a problem. A typical piece of Sony equipment, superb reliability and build quality, and easy to use!

MZ-E310s MINI DISC PLAYER IS NOT RECORDABLE.
Very Happy!, 2009-08-03 I bought this product as I already have a Technics MD player as part of my system but no facility to listen to my Mini-discs elsewhere. I was glad the player was well protected in packaging on arrival and ripped at the parcel straight away. For those who remember the first personal MD players I can offer re-assurance that the battery is not the huge re-charge type, - 1 x AA battery is all you need and this lasts a very long time! The build is delicate on the inside but then MD players are delicate. The sound quality is very good and there are some very useful features - for the price I almost seem compelled to buy another just in case Sony stop making them, - I love it, - it's a great little product!!

Great, 2004-05-29 Got this MD player for my birthdat last year. It's great. There is no other word to describe it. It does what it says it does. All my friends think it's good, and one even went and bought their own. My only critisism is that Sonic Stage (a program you have to use to transfer songs onto the MD)is rather slow and a bit confusing at first.

The Sony MZ-N1 is a top of the range Net MD Walkman with full magnesium body. Sony's MiniDisc format became a portable digital music standard before the age of MP3s. Sadly, though, MiniDisc lost its flavour as MP3 players became ubiquitous. Sony aims to fan the flame up once more with their Net MD line, MiniDisc players that can also connect to your PC to transfer downloaded music. Despite some minor drawbacks, this pricey but versatile digital music player is generally impressive. Firstly, you can use the optical connection cable to transfer songs directly from your stereo (CD...
excellent piece of kit, 2005-06-15 I have had my MZ-N1 for about 3 years now and love it. - Full of features, still learning things about it that i never knew. - The build quality and looks are superb. - Sound qaulity is excellent. The supplied earphones are not the best. I would advise investing in some good earphones like the fontopia ones. - Supplied software (OpenMG) is absolutely rubbish, However, if you get the latest version of Sonic Stage from the Sony website, that is much much better. - The remote is excellent. - The only minor gripe i would have is that if you use the cradle to recharge the battery (you can plug directly into the mains), it sometimes doesn't charge fully, I have to take it off and on again to get it to charge again... In conclusion, an excellent piece of kit.
