Fantastic monitor for both PC and gaming use, 2008-12-20
Comment: I bought one of these LCDs in late September and unfortunately my first monitor was faulty although Amazon immediately replaced it within two days and my second has so far proved a very good purchase and I have had no problems with it at all. The screen is brilliant for use as a monitor for both my laptop and for my Xbox 360 as the colour is bright and crisp, making it perfect for both of these uses. The fast response time in particular is very important for use as a gaming monitor in order to minimise the effect of 'ghosting'. The fact that when I bought this it was only £150 for a 19" HD ready (again incredibly useful for next generation gaming) monitor with TV capabilities (which I am yet to try out) was a complete bargain. I recommend this to anyone looking for a monitor which covers all of the aspects most people could want and doing so at a price that puts many other such monitors to shame.

Comment: I spent a while pondering over which flatscrren to buy online, but I am so glad I bought this one... Picture quality is great, the connectivity is great... The only thing missing from this awesome HD Ready TV is a Digi-tuner...
But honestly, for the price you really cannot go wrong with this TV.

Comment: All I can say is Wow! Nice for just £133
PC 10/10 - As good as any 19" Monitor out there, no bad pixels.
XBox 10/10 - You can run your XBox in 1080i resolution on your AV RGB cable!
Sound 9/10 - I thought it was good, would be hard to make better really, I knocked 1 off because I thought it was a bit quiet in TV mode making you ramp the volume up to 80% then when you put the XBox on you have to ramp it down again.
TV 5/10 - The picture as not the best through a scart lead and digibox, although it could just be my cheap digibox, but I never noticed any wierdness on my old TV. TV looks better through a PC TV Card.
Overall - At this price, if you need a new PC monitor, you might as well have one that does you console and TV too! Bargain! Thanks LG, I might just have to buy another one.
Good value for an HD TV, 2008-09-24
Comment: I got this for my xbox 360 and it has performed well. As expected from the other reviews,the sound quality isn't perfect but that is easily solved by plugging in some computer speakers or similar.
Initially i used component, then upgraded to a VGA cable, and am running it at 1280x1024, even though the monitor's actual resolution is between the 2 HD levels. The number of inputs is useful, but dual scart would be nice.
A nice feature is that it can be turned on from the remote without leaving it in a standby mode, and it automatically restarts in the same input mode as it was turned off in, which saves the bother os changing it each time it is turned on. Overall a good TV which is good value compred to the others available.
