The HH241HPB full high definition display supports the Blu-ray devices for FHD/HD true digital content with a dramatic visual impact for entertainment and multitasking. The HH241HPB is a brilliant display reproducing crisp data and media over a cinematic format with the added benefits of a higher resolution performance. In addition, the aesthetically pleasing design portrays a contemporary style that easily compliments any home or work environment.
Brilliant Budget Monitor, 2010-03-13 I can find no faults in this monitor. 100% quality product, does exactly what it says on the tin. I am writing this review on it in 1920x1024 pixels! Perfect for gaming, on board sound is as expected, but when plugged into external speakers is much better. Easy switch between channels, just 2 buttons. I have my Xbox 360 in the HDMI and my pc in the VGA and can switch between them with ease. Looks sleek, sexy and the gloos finish compliments the matt screen. no glare atall! Only small criticism I have to make is that once the monitor goes to sleep or even goes to screen saver, it takes a good few seconds longer than my old monitor to wake up again. This is also the case when turning it on. But that's a very minor problem, i would recommend this monitor to any budget-conscious buyer.

LG
Value & Quality, 2010-03-05 Great monitor. Superb using HDMI interface - no setting-up needed as it just works. Picture quality is excellent.
Be aware that there is no height adjustment, but on a normal desk it is just fine. Also note that the screen is matt, if you were hoping for a glossy finish.

Excellent screen with full 1080p, 2010-03-12 Excellent monitor. I spent a long time researching a replacement to my previous monitor and eventually decided upon this one. It's a very good looking screen, both when using the PC (photos, websites etc) and with the PS3 (games and blu-ray movies). Screen has a standard PC input, DVI and HDMI - input is switched by pressing a button on the side of the screen. If you're looking for a decent upgrade to your existing monitor, you can't go far wrong with this screen.

Asus
Great monitor for a great price!, 2010-03-03 I spent ages looking through all the monitors available on Amazon and other sites. I wanted a 24" monitor for my new PC that was full HD and had HDMI, DVI and AVG input for my PS3 and PC. This was the best I could find.... and I'm glad I got it.
I read a lot of reviews and determined the following as being the possible bad points:
1. Not good speakers (especially bass)
2. Backlight bleed
3. Buttons and brightness are weird
And some others that I can't really remember so obviously cant have been too bad :D
So, if you are going to use your own speakers and are prepared to spend a little time (10 mins) changing the brightness, if it bothers you, then there's no problem with 1. and 3. as for 2. Backlight bleed (basically on dark images you can see the backlight showing through around the ages... slightly) it doesn't bother me, it's not even that obvious but it depends on what you are going to use the monitor for. You could always send it back to Amazon if you can't live with it. Come to think about it, my 40" Samsung that cost over £700 has backlight bleed and its worse on that.
Now for the good points, a 24" monitor with full HD and HDMI, DVI and VGA input that has a sharp, clear image for a good price is unbelievable. I considered getting Acer like my brothers monitor but to be honest, he has a dead pixel on his and I don't so although every monitor has a risk of getting them as far as I am concerned Asus 1 / Acer 0.
So, overall, this monitor was a great choice and even though I have mentioned the bad points about the monitor, had I not read any reviews, I wouldn't even have noticed them so that's how trivial they are (again, in my opinion). If you're looking for a good sized monitor for your PC, PS3 and even 360 (if you get an extra lead for the older non-elite 360) then this is definitely amongst the front runners. You might be able to get a better monitor with dell or Samsung for a few more tenners but frankly that will be just a waste because the Asus VH242H does it all!

This LCD monitor is compatible with GeForce 3D Vision display technology from Nvidia, and it's been specificially designed for
- video games and film viewing, with a response time of just 3ms.
- SAMSUNG SyncMaster 2233RZ 22" wide TFT Screen (3ms) - 3D Vision Ready 3 ms, DVI 20-23 inches LCD monitor/TFT screen
- 20-23 inches
I'm very pleased, 2010-03-13 I bought this to work with the nvidia 3d vision glasses which I don't have yet. But as a general purpose monitor I'm VERY pleased with it indeed.
It's sharp and looks good and at 120hz games work very well indeed on it. It even looks good with visual c++ on it, the text being clear and sharp. I got this because the 3d glasses need a 120hz monitor, but having seen it I'd be very pleased indeed with it just as a standard monitor too.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this. The 3d glasses come on monday so I guess I'll post a review of those separately.

Acer
Bought 2, 2010-03-03 HIMSELF is fast becoming a VERY expensive other half! He had the new computer so took my screen so that I could set up his new computer from his old computer. That in its self is another story and a huge learning curve. All was well except that my computer was pretty useless without a screen and HIMSELF, being hard working etc was in no rush to give me back my screen!! Frustrated!! I decided that I deserved a replacement screen and a spare would be useful etc. so ordered the Acer 23". It was dead easy to install, even I managed it! The auto adjust did not set up to my liking so I adjusted manually. Of course you know the next bit! Home comes Sir!! The lovely 3 year old 20" HP screens suddenly didn't look nearly so good and a second Acer has been bought and installed and guess who is a happy little bunny! These really are remarkable value for money, you do need to be strong in wind and limb to adjust the screen rake so himself was useful for this bit. I do lots of photographic work and with my manual adjustments, I am delighted with my new screen, GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!!

Samsung
Great monitor!, 2010-02-18 My spine is always straight and I don't need to use my reading glasses since I bought this monitor. I have no idea what's gamer's opinion, but for my purpose which is photo editing this monitor is great! The only I'd wish is adjustable stand - for some reason companies don't want to make them...

ViewSonic
- Widescreen aspect ratio with Full HD 1920x1080p
- 20000:1 dynamic contrast ratio: Provides darker
- Fast 2ms video response delivers superior pictur
- OptiSync digital/analog inputs: The digital HDMI
- SRS WOW HD sound: Extends the speaker frequency
Great Monitor, 2010-02-27 Great Monitor at a great price. Bought this as a replacement for an old 15inch LCD and to use instead of a TV for PS3 games. The difference is amazing. Use the HDMI from the PS3, DVI from PC and VGQ connecter for laptop, all produce amazing results. Comparing this to THE OLD LCD is no contest, I have this one set to its most eco settings and its still has to be seen to be believed.
The built in speakers are about what you would expect, so connect use the pass though audio connector nif you are worried about the sound quality.
Other reviewers have mentions the the power light - yes it is bright but I find that it does not really dotract me whilst concentrating at what is one the screen.
