Mobile HP Printer, 2010-06-15 I bought this product relying on description and on HP product reliability and quality, so that I could do bluetooth printing from my netbook. It also can use USB and WiFi.
I was not disappointed. The speed and colour quality is excellent. I recommend it

Sony
Super quality, with a tie in............, 2006-01-16 Have been using this for a while now (3 months). Picture quality is superb (I have the 7.2m Sony DSC-P200 Camera). The size is brilliant and portable when using pict-bridge. This makes it handy - I took it with me for the family christmas and was able to give out photo's whilst we were there to relatives we dont see often. The printing process is slow due to the sblimination proces (paper goes through, printer adds one colour, paper then goes thorugh again and again until you get the final print). The only draw back is the running cost. £20 for a cartridge with 40 glossy photo papers isnt bad but you cant buy other papers, although I have tried, the printer always seems to know and wont work. So you can have glossy paper or, err, glossy paper. If this doesnt bother you then you will not regret buying this printer.

Hardware good but issues with software, 2010-07-26 As with all the Dymo Label Writer printers that we have purchased, the printer itself is simple to install, set up and use. However, this Dymo Label Writer 450 has a different application to previous models and this is not so intuative to use. There is one (apparent) bug in the software that Dymo support have not been able to help with: if a new label is created or an existing label is changed, the user is not prompted to save it when they open another label or close the application. (There is a setting for this in Preferences which is turned on!)

Does what it says on the tin, 2009-11-03 Bought this for work to be able to run a 'mobile office' when needed. So far it's worked very reliably (I've had it about 6mnths).
Would definitely recommmend to others.
Only beef is that it is a little bulky.

Dymo 450 Duo Label Writer, 2010-06-01 I have owned this new version of the Dymo 450 Duo Label Writer for the last three months and am extremely happy with the purchase.
It features the usual spool at the top, from which a variety of address labels can be produced in the simplest way - literally open the programme, choose your label, type what you want to have on the label and then choose the font size (with an automatic option available so that the text can be sized to fill the label), hit print and the label is printed off.
There is a second slot from which labels are printed out from a cassette (reference D1). The labels produced from the cassette are harder wearing than the normal address labels and have a thin plastic feel to them. I have stuck them on plant pots where they remain attached three months on, through frosts and rain, which is pretty impressive. The D1 cartridges are available in lots of different colours:
1. Black text on clear label
2. White text on clear label
3. Red text on clear label
4. Blue text on clear label
5. Black text on white label
6. Blue text on white label
7. Red text on white label
8. White text on black label
9. Black text on blue label
10. Black text on red label
11. Black text on yellow label
12. Black text on green label
They also come in different widths of 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm and 24mm, so an immense selection is available (I find the 12mm, 19mm and 24mm fulfil most of my needs).
Both types of label have a number of templates that can be selected with a variety of graphics and formatting, so it is possible to produce professional looking labels with ease. It is easy to switch printing between the labels and the tape without having to remove one to print the other.
I remember seeing adverts for label writers a number of years ago and recall wondering why anyone would want such a thing. Well, we bought our first Dymo probably seven years ago and I can vouch for the fact that if you type letters with a degree of frequency, you will find a label writer useful to print address labels. I have only used the cassette labels for three months but have already used them on plant pots exposed to the weather, on cables and in the filing cabinet - and they have proven their durability in each case.
