I've been after a simple USB hub for recharging my iPod and connecting my external HD for some time since my other USB slots were always in use with modem & mouse. This TRUST product works fine, looks decent and is compact enough to fit somewhere that's out of the way of keyboard & mouse. In short I really can't think of anything wrong at all. Its a nice little piece of equipment that I'd recommend to anyone!

I was quite new to this game..and had tried cheaper ones on the market. I either had trouble installing because there was no CD with it and in one case it was too small.
This Belkin bluetooth USB adaptor however was totally different and a pleasure to use..although not tried it at 100 metre range, I can thoroughly recommend this item.

Having wasted my time and money on the Plantronics 520 without much interest from the customer service team at Plantronics either, I was wary of purchasing another bluetooth headset to be honest. However, I have to admit to being very happy with my new Jabra BT2020. No problems whatsoever and for almost a third of the price of a useless headset from Plantronics. Don't be put off by the price. Fits well on the ear too. I only use mine with my laptop but that works fine. Plantronics tried to persuade me that the fault probably lay with me using a Belkin bluetooth dongle. Knowing Belkin's products as I do, I thought it highly improbable. I was right. Thanks again Plantronics for a useless product and after sales service.

Bought these for the missus, but a guess a new pair is in order.... freakin' Motorola BT820 just keeps biting my ears and making me look like Freezer.

Easy to pair, good sound quality and you don't even notice the "pendant" thingy around your neck. Also, the inclusion of changeable ear buds is a plus.

Battery life is acceptable. They look good, ..also kinda frail but hey, should endure through the years as long as you're careful.

First of all I purchased a very cheap BT nano dongle (the rounded one). It was, at best, 'okay', and transferred files between my netbook and my HTC Kaiser. But I couldn't get an internet connection using PAN. It had only cost a couple of quid so I put it away in a draw and went instead for this more expensive Belkin product.
What a difference. Installation was straight forward on my Samsung N130 netbook (which doesn't have BT built in).
The software is superb and permits easy file transfer via FTP which is a much better solution to just sending and receiving files as I used to do - drop a file in the bluetooth shared folder on the netbook and it magically appears in the transfer folder on the HTC. No messing about.
The dongle can quickly be switched on and off with two mouse clicks to save a bit of power and stop the blue light on the device from shining. Switching it back on takes less than 5 seconds so it's no hassle leaving it switched off until needed.
Connecting my netbook to the internet using the phone's GPRS connection is a breeze, and the networks connect within seconds usig the Quick Connect>Network settings menu option from the BT icon in the system tray.
The dongle itself pushes fully into the USB socket so you dont see any of the metal connection piece when it's installed.
There are loads of apps on the software I haven't even used yet like VOIP, Hands Free audio, Stereo audio, PIM synchronisation, D-U-N, Send business card etc etc.
In summary, if you're thinking of buying a cheap dongle for a couple of quid - don't, it's a false economy in my experience. Go for this one for a bit more money, Belkin do seem to make some solid products that work properly with good software behind them.

I'm not a huge fan of Bluetooth, it seems each device has its own way of using the system and some things do it much better than others. However, this inexpensive no-brand dongle from mobile phone specialist e4deal is pretty good value and works well for my purposes. It is supplied in a clear sleeve with no CD, or any other information, but is Plug & Play and straightforward to use.

I have used it with a Sony Vaio running Vista and a Samsung N130 running XP and it works well with both computers, and both windows systems, for communicating with my Samsung and Sony Ericsson mobile phones. After the first use, when it finds its driver, it brings up an icon on the notification area when plugged in and all the functions can be accessed from a right click on that icon. It can also be accessed from the Bluetooth section in Control Panel.

It is handy for downloading the odd photo from your phone if you don't want to set up a full cable connection between it and your computer. Don't forget to click the Receive File on the Bluetooth icon or you'll wait all day for nothing to happen! For basic Bluetooth functions at a competitive price this dongle does the job - so five stars for features and price.
