I'm really pleased how lightweight and portable this device is. It also has the advantage of not needing it's own plug socket, as it is powered by USB.

I wanted something that wasn't going to take up any desk space and it delivered. Having said that, it is very stylish and wouldn't look out of place in any room or office.

For basic operations it is easy to use and the reproduction is good enough for most applications.

You will not find a better entry level machine and you will have no trouble reselling it if you wish to upgrade in future.

HP LaserJet P1005 Printer

OK, so it doesn't do colour, but since getting this printer I've realised that reliability and print quality are way, way more important. I have spent years trying to encourage inkjet printers not to smudge or misalign my prints. With this laser printer, every print comes out totally accurate - and fast. I used to spend ages trying to print labels accurately and now it just works. This printer is affordable too - don't be put off by the toner price, because when you consider that you only buy the one (black) and it does many more pages than inkjet carts, it works out to be pretty economical in comparison.

Epson Perfection V300 Photo Scanner (4800 dpi, USB 2.0)

I purchased an Epson Perfection V300 Photo Scanner because it came highly recommended in reviews and by our local PC shop. What the reviews and product description don't tell you is that the system can differentiate a photo from background 'noise' when scanned and leave you just with the image, which it can then clean up automatically for you and store in a JPG file, which is what I was looking for. It is very easy to install and use, as is the image processing software it came with; so far I haven't needed to use the manual. I highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic printer. Very, very easy to change cartridges when they run out. But the cartridges last for ages. I haven't done an exact page count, but it must be about 1,500 pages of text on one black cartridge! Cheap too, if you find a good website. The scanner is extremely easy to use, especially with the feeder. The only downside is the 150 page paper tray. But I got the additional 2nd tray for about £30 and this holds the usual 250 pages. Great printer.

simple-to-follow instructions meant first-time installation and operation. wireless connection reduces clutter, but does slow the first impression out, after which they come fast and reliably. default options easy to set, with simple changes for a particular document. duplexing works really well.

Epson Stylus SX515W High-Speed All-in-One Printer with Individual Inks and Wi-Fi

The set up is easy, but just download the drivers!!!! The other applications are large and unneccesary and can slow computer down.Ink consumption is normal despite what people say, My experience of Canon,HP,Lexmark leads me back to this one. This is my second and is used more than normal.For printing Bar Codes as with Ryanair boarding paperwork there is no problem and the printed item is scanable unlike HP printers. All in all a good value for money wireless printer.

This is excellent machine but unfortunately the machine I received would not print in black which was confirmed when a second black cartidge was fitted.

This network printer from HP is a valuable asset at someone's bussiness. It does everything flawlessly. The install was easy, and as a usb printer, and as a network printer. I would like to mention about the package, because the printer was sent to Greece, that came with no defects.

CanoScan LiDE 200 Scanner

Easy to install on iMac. Operating software takes a little getting your head round at first and I don't use the buttons on the scanner itself. Takes good quality scans of pix and I also use it for making pdfs of documents - software has useful facility to save multi-page documents as single pdf. Recommended.

Veho VFS-004 5MP 35mm Negative & Slide Scanner

Really old negatives and slides, 2010-03-04
Excellent in everyway.
I was able to scan all our negatives and slides dating from the early 60s to circa 2000, when I got a digital camera.
Although I did have to crop the really old ones due to their size (Approx.7mm x7mm),At least we now have photos that we thought we lost. As with lots of people especially Parents, the best photos of the children are given to family members etc.
Happily we are now able to recover all of them.
