Nice bag but it never made it out of its packaging as it is far too big for my compact digital camera -Dont take a chance that it will fit-measure up as it is not that compact and in terms of its size its a bag not a pouch.

This is an excellent padded bag but make sure you checkout the lowepro site for compatability charts before buying. All cameras are listed. Amazon often recommend the wrong ones.

Nice bag but a bit big for my camera, 2006-07-25
I got this bag as a free gift when I ordered the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S600 and as a camera bag it is very good except for one thing, the camera I ordered is abit too small to be properly protected by the bag.
Yes the bag has padding (and a very nice padded inside, nice and smooth so the camera wont get any marks while inside) but the overall bag itself is too big for my needs but if a camera did fit properly then it would be an excellent bag.
Its well padded, weather proof (ideal if you get caught in a short rain shower while on holiday or something) with a zip top so even with the bag upside-down there is no way for the contents to fall out.
Also inside is a small pocket that would easily hold extra memory sticks and spare batteries safely and away from the camera itself.
It also has a strong velco belt loop so you can attach the bag to your belt or a strap on a bak-pak or if thats not your thing then the adjustable length strap is ideal to sling over your shoulder.
Overall I give this bag a 4 out of 5, it doesn't make 5 out of 5 simply because it is too big to secure my camera inside.
