This is a very nice printer indeed! I did not expect it to be so good and only wanted it for proofs before sending to be processed at a professional studio, but have found that the quality is so good that some of the photos I have been able to keep. The secret is in using HP printer cartridges - don't be tempted with generic ones HP Original 110 Tri-colour Inkjet Print Cartridge with Vivera Inks and I recommend that you use the best photo paper that is available. The Kodak Ultra paper (currently on offer at Tescos for half price)

Excellent product , very easy to use and prints consistantly good photos' . print cartridges are a bit pricey , but aren't they all! have purchased 2 now one for myself and one for my son.and I have a feeling another one may be purchased shortly

I am so impressed with this little printer. I've thought of buying one for ages but was put off by seeing DIY printing which was poor quality. The print quality of this is excellent and very easy to use. I recommend it.
Handy little piece of equipment, 2009-06-17
The HP photosmart is easy to set up and use. I bought it for a non-techno friend and she easily got to grips with it. I agree with the reviewer who said they are stingy with the paper supplied - so if you decide to get one - order more paper from the start. Otherwise you can't do more than set it up and print off a couple of trial photos.
