Logitech X-140 Multimedia Speakers (2.0)

Not a lot to add to the other reviews really. These are well built speakers and deliver a good sound for the price. You can get better quality sound, but then you will be paying better quality prices!

Some reviews mention lack of bass, depth and that they sound tinny, but I have not found that to be the case. I have a wide taste in music and I have found them to be adequate for my needs. Set up is easy, plug in and play with controls on the front of the speaker making for easy control.

They are not a sizeable unit as some suggest (maybe they have extremely small desks!!), but more chunky with a pleasing weight that suggests build quality and longevity (we shall see).

Overall pleasantly surprising sound for the price, I would recommend these to anyone that wants a decent sounding small speaker without paying way over the odds. Good product, go get them, you can't go far wrong for £15!

PURE i-10 Powered iPod Dock with Remote Control

I own quite a bit of Pure gear now and the thing that stands out most is when Pure design something they don't mess about. The quality is obvious and it's very carefully thought out. There is nothing missing that you need, and nothing that shouldn't be there.

This dock is heavy enough, sturdy enough, and sounds great - use the supplied gold-plated cable to connect it to a Pure Evoke or a Sensia and you have a bedroom/kitchen/study sound system to die for. The remote is small but very usable - and despite being IR based seems to work happily wherever you point it.

Two things to bear in mind though:

*No computer connection.
*It has to be plugged in to the wall - it's a shame it can't take it's power from the radio.

Overall - strongly recommended if you need a high quality iPod way to connect your iPod to your sound system (but not to your computer!).

I bought two of these and my word. They are cute, dinky, intriguing. I'm amazed. You twist the speaker and it sort of concertinas. The sound is marvellous for such a small speaker and I'm so pleased. The speakers link together with their inbuilt leads if you want a more powerful sound. I bought two, to be used at the same time, but to be honest I am more than happy with one speaker on its own. I am going to give one to my son.

excellent piece of kit easy to use and a great community for updates and custom firmware etc, i also own the popcorn hour c200 and to be honest i prefer the wdtv as its much easier to use an dit plays everything the popcorn hour does.

I bought this for my 9 year old and I am very impressed with the product (as is she!). The sound is good and it is compact. The only negative is that the adapters provided with the product do not include one for the latest ipod nano (luckily an adapter was included with her ipod which she got for Christmas)

My old speakers is made of Logitech speakers, and they are old and has lower sound. So I decided to purchase something bigger and louder and easy to store on my desk, so I recommended myself to purchase this Logitech X-210 Speakers. Delivered well and quickly. Opened it up and played my favourite song, and once I played the song, I fell in love with the speakers. The bass box is played perfectionally, so does the 2 speakers. It takes out the whole room and filled up with the great balance. The sound is amazing and so I advice this speakers useful for the office room or something. Great speakers!

I bought this to replace my daughter's old CD player which was on its last legs. I was a bit concerned about the lack of a headphone socket, but she loves it and uses it a lot. It's very sturdy, simple to use, and the fact that you can plug her iPod into it is a real bonus; she can set up a long playlist and then get on with homework or whatever else she's up to without having to swap discs. Lightweight, very portable, quite nice looking and has good radio reception too. And the delivery was fast, too.

These are great little speakers and good value for money. They are simplicity itself to install so don't worry if you are not technically minded. They were just what I needed to enhance the speaker system of my new PC.
