Plastic rubbish, 2010-08-21
Don't buy these headphones. Whilst they sound great, they are made of brittle plastic and break terribly easy. Consequently they are a complete waste of money.
Great earphones for your MP3 player, 2010-07-30
Only had these earphones a few days now, but so far I have to say they are the best earphones I've had for my MP3 player, I have larger earphones (Sennheiser HD595 Open Headphones, which are excellent) but too bulky for out and about, but these sony MDR-V300's are great, just the right size when you are out on the street, and not too big and bulky that they look stupid. The sound quality I found to be excellent with a good even ammount of bass and treble. The first thing anyone should do when they get an MP3 player is throw away the earphones supplied and get a pair of mid priced over the ear phones, buds are great for running, but when you are on the bus, train etc you want a more fuller sound, for me the V-300's are just the job, for the price I can't believe how good they sound, they also fold up which lessens the chance of them getting broken when you put them in your bag / rucksack. I listen to a wide range of music including dance, drum & bass rock & metal, indie and everything in between, they all sound very good with these earphones, they are also very light. All in all very good and recommended.
Muffled sound, 2010-08-12
Be wary of these headphones.
I bought them because they mostly get very good reviews BUT
They have very poor sound reproduction.
The sound is very muffled with lots of cloudy sounding heavy bass and little treble.
I am in the process of sending mine back to hopefully get a dearer but better pair.

These are my very fav. headphones for around the house when cleaning etc. as they dont keep falling off....and the sound is brilliant, the only down side is the length of the lead- wow is it long - I have to fold it up and stick it down by shirt...not always a good look.
My ears Ached after 30 mins, 2010-08-12
Just want to add a review about these headphones to warn people before wasting their money. These headphones are so tight and the cans are the wrong size, my ears started to hurt after about 30 mins. I thought id go cheap and cheerful for some headphones and i regret that now, listening to music or in my case vido editing should be an enjoyable experience, not with these. i'm now looking around for some new ones. Hope this helps.
