unfortunately i think my laser is faulty as opposed to dirty so this product did not work. was worth a try and will be able to use it in the future

Well impressed with my little DVD cleaner. I was having lots of 'sticking' and 'freezing' problems with my player, so much so i wanted to get another one but then i saw this and hey no new player needed and a happy buyer!! The little image it shows is funky to. Blowing up planets as it goes through the process of cleaning your laser :)

Fixed my daughters DVD player, 2010-01-30
I'd heard some good and bad things about cleaning disc's and was a little bit concerned about getting one. However as my daughters dvd player had completely stopped working I needed to get it fixed, or replaced. I brought the Hama disc as I didn't want to spend too much on a cleaning disc in case it didn't work. When it came I inserted it in my daughters DVD drive and thirty seconds later it was all fixed. That's the only time I've used it but it worked 100%. I'm very happy with the disc and have it stored away, in case I need it again.

Does what is says on the tin. My DVD writer had stopped writing. Gave it a clean with this and hey presto.
