Not a lot to add to the other reviews really. These are well built speakers and deliver a good sound for the price. You can get better quality sound, but then you will be paying better quality prices!

Some reviews mention lack of bass, depth and that they sound tinny, but I have not found that to be the case. I have a wide taste in music and I have found them to be adequate for my needs. Set up is easy, plug in and play with controls on the front of the speaker making for easy control.

They are not a sizeable unit as some suggest (maybe they have extremely small desks!!), but more chunky with a pleasing weight that suggests build quality and longevity (we shall see).

Overall pleasantly surprising sound for the price, I would recommend these to anyone that wants a decent sounding small speaker without paying way over the odds. Good product, go get them, you can't go far wrong for £15!

These speakers have a good sound quality.
Great bass and a almost clinically clean treble
They are easy to set up provided you can work out the ones with the volume control go on the right hand side.
I have been using them for the past two months without any problems.
They have a futuristic appearance, might be a little expensive but I think they are worth it.
Highly recommended.

Logitech X-540 Multimedia Speaker System (5.1)

Have been using them for 3 months now and have nothing to complain about!

I use them on my desktop which has a 5.1 compatible sound card and set up is kids play. I did the man thing and ignored all the instructions and surprisingly the red connector goes to the red socket and so on. Took all of 5 minutes! It can be used in other ways, e.g. with TVs and X-boxes and a connector is included - however don't expect it to work miracles - its a speaker system not a home cinema system - go to Richer Sounds if that's what you want!

The cable length has been discussed in previous reviews, for my room in student halls I find them fine but I can see it being a problem for anything bigger.

For the price the sound quality is fine. I find 'matrix mode' lacks bass and the centre speakers seems to dominate giving it a bit of a strange sound. As a result I rarely use it. When I do, I play with the equaliser to get a better sound.

The wired remote is very useful for adjusting the volume however it is permanently wired so you can't unplug it, run the wire down the back of the desk and then plug it back in which was a bit of a pain but not a major problem.

Overall I would most definitely recommend

This product is fabulous. It is so powerful that I never tried the higher volume and I have music in my entire room. And for the value I really recommend it.

My old speakers is made of Logitech speakers, and they are old and has lower sound. So I decided to purchase something bigger and louder and easy to store on my desk, so I recommended myself to purchase this Logitech X-210 Speakers. Delivered well and quickly. Opened it up and played my favourite song, and once I played the song, I fell in love with the speakers. The bass box is played perfectionally, so does the 2 speakers. It takes out the whole room and filled up with the great balance. The sound is amazing and so I advice this speakers useful for the office room or something. Great speakers!

bought these pairs for my girlfriend on valentine's day and she and I really liked the design and also the sound quality. I can recommend them to you and they come bigger size than it looks in pictures. their look is fantastic and the bass is really deep and very good. it is great for laptops I can say. don't think, this price is seriously bargain for them.

Short review here. They can be loud but still be very clear, very good subwoofer too. And about the buzz everyone is on about, its hardly noticeable and only when there is abosolut silence in the room (in which case you can just unplug them) and I wouldnt really call it a buzz, its just a low sound, it shouldnt change your mind about the product. WARNING very short mains cable, I think its slightly less than metre (around 90cm). Highly recommended.

What a good piece of kit, Really pleased fits in with the rest of my squeezebox system. The sound quality is really good, ideal as a clock radio for the bedroom. Also love the large clock on the display in standby mode, Having the 6 presets for my favorite radio stations makes just turning on and listening a joy to use.
