The sound quality is as good as if not better than the cinema. The bass from the sub woofer has to be heard to be believed. Blue ray disc are as crisp and sharp both visual and audio. Can not recommend highly enough

This home cinema takes a little setting up, and is generally best for Bravia tv owners.
Once set up it is really great. The subwoofer growls and the other 5 speakers are of brilliant quality, giving off crystal clear sound.
The dav-dz280 is good value for money i would recomend this home cinema to everyone. Works on ps3, tv, and dvd great alround system.

A fantastic buy very pleased with my purchase. Was slightly unsure about buying a 2.1 home cinema system, as i am usually used to 5.1, but i struggle to notice the dirrerence. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. Ignore the other customer reviews with regards to loud fan noise, totally not an issue. I find the ipod docking station a super added extra, just simply plug your ipod in and you can navigate your way through your ipod menu through your TV, this thing is really loud and super clear!! I couldn't find anything with this home cinema system that i didn't like, it has a great look and sounds brilliant!! although it does require a large TV stand, and if you don't have one then get one, its well worth it

I have had a DVD surround sound system for a few years, but having finally upgraded my TV to HD I wanted to go Blue Ray. I shopped around and found this to be the best value for money.
I am not dissapointed. The system looks fantastic, has great sound quality (even at full volume (which is to loud to listen too) there is no distortion). I am very impressed with the DVD upscaler as having a large DVD collection this was an improtant factor.
Overall very happy and would recommend this product to anyone.

excellent piece of kit easy to use and a great community for updates and custom firmware etc, i also own the popcorn hour c200 and to be honest i prefer the wdtv as its much easier to use an dit plays everything the popcorn hour does.

Hi there altho i didnt actually purchase this system from amazon i do have the same one and i think it is an amazing home cinema system, it has perfect sound quality and can go very loud! Im not sure why others are saying its complicated to set up i found it to be very simple and was enjoying watching a film within 20 minutes, but i really do think if you want a surround sound system you would be a fool not to buy this one especially at this price!

I use the sound system to give my home cinema a bit more umpf. And it does! the only difficulty i didn't manage to sort yet is the cable length. Because i don't have it all set up around a TV set as they expect you to but use it with a projector. The cable for the speaker that is supposed to be at the screen is far too short. Normally it would be right with the TV screen = next to the DVD player, but in my case its across the room... Apart from that all is well!
