good delivery first class,better then easy life,where my father order the same machine in November,got it in January.CD player broken on him 3 days after he got it and set it back,he got a letter back saying he will get it back in 14-28 days.on the 25 day he got a letter saying there r out of stock and will get it in June,because there say there are alot of people buying it.

I have to say this is a very good cassette deck indeed.I read your other reviews before purchasing and the bad on did make me think a bit. No I have no hesitation in giving this product 5 stars. It does everything I want from it. Allright the mechanism is klunky but this has been the case with every cassette deck I have owned. As for the sound quality it's the best I have heard from my ageing cassettes. 10 out of 10 for everything.

go a long way to find better, 2010-02-02
I have had many tape decks, my last dying recently hence the purchase. The pioneer is very nicely finished all the buttons and the cassette doors have a pleasing quality feel in use. It has a number of very clever features which I am only starting to use, but trust me each time I think... thats a good idea (or) helpful.
Some of the manufacturers have virtually removed quality from their cassette decks as demand has fallen away, but hey I have a stack six foot tall from radio John Peel in the late 70's and eighties to later stuff that you can't get anymore. I need a player and I would definately reccomend this one five thumbs up!

An excellent product for the money, which gives a good quality output.
I would have preferred if the doors on the tape deck opened using one of the control buttons rather than pressing a catch on the opening flap, and the reverse mode sliding switch is a bit fiddly.
