Nothing i can actually say wrong with this, first off its a 'sony' so very reliable, it has a very nice colour, perfect size for my little room, and a very good price compared to other sellers. I have had no problems so far in 1 1/2 years

 LED..but not thin., 2010-01-22
I bought this TV from Amazon a few weeks ago and I have no complaints, the service was from Amazon was excellent. The TV has a lot of features and with it a lot of settings. The default settings out of the box are not ideal and initially I was rather disappointed with the picture and motion blur, I even saw this in a shop on a display model where they had failed to change the default settings. Once these are changed the picture is much more fluid, no ghosting and in HD truely remarkable.
The TV is one of the first to benefit from LED backlight technology and it is clear that the colour and contrast levels are significantly better than a standard LCD TV. Even though it is an LED TV it is not as slim as the new Samsung LED TV's and it's quite heavy at 43kg. Although for me the Samsung LED TV's are not as sharp as they should be and this is very apparent when viewed next to a normal Sony LCD, which is why I ended up buying Sony. This TV upscales terrestrial TV and DVD sources to HD and it achieves a good result.
With LCD technology moving so fast it's clear that this TV is already outdated and I expect that the next Sony LED LCD TV will have the Bravia 3 engine and be significantly slimmer and lighter, and with an even better picture. Still the 46X4500 is an excellent TV and it's price is dropping, making it even more attractive. If it is in your budget it's worth reviewing.

Sony come up trumps again !, 2010-02-08
I bought a little know branded 19" tv from a shop only to find that when I hooked it up the sound was unbelievably tinny. We tried to ignore this but after only two days of trying the wife and I had had enough and it had to go back.
Scouring through the internet, researching the numerous brands and models & reviews I seemed to return to those on Sony which were predominantly favourable. I could have kicked myself for not settling with this to begin with as most if not all our other audio & visual goods are Sony anyway.
When I hooked this small tv up, I was astonished by the quality of sound,much richer/fuller than you would expect for it's size, the picture is sharp with true colours and much scope to play with. As it's a bedroom tv we needed a remote control that would be easy to use and this fits the bill perfectly, the buttons are arranged logically and uncluttered but as an only gripe it would have been more preferable if the sleep button was placed on it's own rather than part of a menu with other functions (those who use it as often as me will know what I'm talking about)
I must also add that Amazons service is second to none, I have used them a few times before, the service is always quick, well packaged and the price always more favourable than the high street.

best 1080p tv there is, 2009-05-28
this is easily the best 1080p lcd tv on the market, response times arent beaten by anyone other set other than led's and this is still very expensive and the gap between quality isn't great enough to warrant the extra dosh, blu rays look amazing, but so does the built in freeview channels, the glass surround ozzes class when its off, sony really do know what there doing and this tv is world class.

Excellent picture even when not in HD.
When in power saving mode, the external inputs not selected when TV was switched off appear to take some time to be made available for use when TV is next switched on. Minor irritation sometimes.
