 Great brand, once again delivers!, 2010-03-09
For the price the quality is exceptional. Just received them and so far I am extremely happy with them. The sub-woofer reeks of quality and durability and the satellite speakers don't look cheap or cheesy in the slightest and look great! They both deliver great sound ranging over many different genres of music. The satellites get a bit distorted near the highest volume, but I can't think of many instances when you would need to turn it up that high, because just over half way is bloody loud, and already loud enough to disturb the neighbours. Overall, they look great and sound absolutely FANTASTIC!! I just wish I threw in an extra £20 and got the 5.1 system. Great and would definitely recommend!

Was looking for a easy to use clock radio at a good price and after several disasters saw this in Homebase, googled it for reviews and found it for half the price.
Does everything it says on the box, very easy to use, and quick and easy to change alarm times if needed.If you dont need to just leave it alone and will not let you down the following morning. Also I have found with a lot of them that the clock is far too bright when you wake up in the middle of the night, this one is not.Brilliant value and so far very reliable. Would buy another.

A Quality Product, 2010-01-09
Needed a Cassette player to play some old Cassettes from the 80's, looked around, not that many left on the market nowadays. This machine was not cheap but being Sony I knew the overall quality would be good. I was not disappointed, good quality feel to the case, I agree with a few reviews that I read saying the CD mechanism is a bit unusual in the way that it operates but all seems to work great. Sound quality is excellent for s portable machine. all in all very happy, I slight problem, I cannot work out how to store the radio station which I am sure was a feature, suppose I will have to read the manual.

bought these headphones for my C905 as i received the ordinary headphones wih it that kept falling out my ears. they came just a few days later in the packet, brand new and perfect quality. well worth it, especially for the price

I read some other reviews on these speakers and thought they'd be worth a try. Very glad I did as they have been possibly one of the best value tenners I've spent in a long while. Small and light yet great sounding, they were brilliant on a recent three week trip around the Canary islands.

Great little machine, 2010-02-02
Had it since Christmas and we are absolutely delighted with it!
The alarm-setting function is wonderfully simple - a pair of big dials on each side (one pair for each alarm) to set time, and to change between off/radio/buzzer. Other manufacturers could learn from this simplicity.
The radio sounds fine, the clock remains accurately on time (unlike a DAB that we tried and sent back because the clock lost 4 minutes overnight unless the radio was actually in use! Honestly - it came on at the wrong time, and then corrected itself after a few minutes to make up for the lost time.)
It does exactly what it needs to do, simply and reliably. What else is there to say?

When i first opened the box i thought oh no the woofer control unit is really big,but when its in situ it looks quite cool with the display.lots of wires to plug into woofer but quite easy and self explanitory..didnt need instructions.the sound is amazing and clear,lots of different modes..cinema,music etc.couldnt get my blu ray player to work throught the woofer using the HDMI lead so plugged the blu ray into tv(HDMI lead)and use the tv mode on the woofer and it works just as well.sound from the mini speakers is really good considering the size of them..i recommend this system.

batteries for sony radio, 2009-12-12
The link on this page for batteries are the wrong ones!! I have just unpacked the Radio and the batteries and they are too big.
IT TAKES AAA size batteries
SO warning dont order the ones they are linked to on this page... like I did...
However I have tested the radio as luckly I found some batteries in a remote control...
The radio works a treat its sturdy and robust .
