Bought this as a replacement to a Philips idock radio alarm(faulty, had to go back) and as a present for husbands birthday. When we first plugged it in we could not receive DAB radio so reverted to FM....oh dear through FM the time had a life of its own would skip hours, not wake us up at the appointed time! Total nightmare. Rang up Pure and was just about to return it when I thought lets put it on MY side of the bed and......it worked on DAB! Thrilled, so I am now in charge of Husbands present!! Sound is very good quality, primarily bought it because of idock, its such a clever thing re alarm weekdays and weekend settings brilliant. Far better than the Philips one we had. Highly recommended.

After looking at many other ipod alarm clocks and reading many reviews..I kept coming back to this product. I have to say that it exceed my expectations and absolutely love it!!!! The display is bright and is easy to see but not to bright to keep you awake! It sounds good and its great to wake up to my own choice of music. I think this is an absolute bargain and woul recommend this product to everyone!!!

This purchase of the ROBERTS `Dreamtime` DAB radio is an excellent one. Reviews I read prior to purchase indicated difficulty in setting up. However, if you read the instructions carefully it is not too bad. The LED screen is rather bright even on the lowest setting. I am extremely satisfied with the product, and would certainly recommend it.

I've always liked Sony products and liked the style of the unit.

The sound is clear with no background noise.

I didn't consider the portability of the product because it was brought to use in the kitchen but it would have been a better all rounder if you could use batteries.

I have just purchased a power traveller explorer which is a rechargeable power source that can be used to charge gadgets like ipods and mobile phones. I found this external power source would power the radio but mine will be staying on the mains adaptor in the kitchen

If you turn off and disconnect the mains adaptor from the radio.

You can power the unit by using the PSP tip on the powermonkey and pluging that into the back of the radio into the DC IN 6V socket.

There are also 4 alarms you can use DAB,FM or Buzzer. They are accessed by pressing the Sleep and Disply buttons together and can be set easily.

When the radio is turned off via the power button the display is still active showing the time (24 hour fomat)and date (dd-mm-yyyy)

Perfect form factor. Small. Everything works perfectly. The light is nice and soft at night, and the alarm settings are great (You can set it to play a track on your ipod, alarm normally or use a radio station). Great price too, a really good investment.

Arrived very promptly. The quality of the sound is very good, even when loud. It looks good, very modern and the clock is nice and clear to see. The sleep function allows me to fall asleep listening to my music and the alarm wakes me up gently. I love the fact that you can have two different alarms. one for weekend, one for work etc. The radio is nice and clear, and I can plug in another mp3 player or my personal cd player to listen to other music. Overall very happy with it.
