this is great - it's easy to move around the house and easy to operate. Although there are not many portable radio/cassette/CD players to choose from I am happy with this model. Sounds good too. It was useful to know that the power adaptor adds a few extra inches at the back and therefore not suitable for a shallow shelf area.

The IHome IP9GRE is a very nice piece of kit. I bought it after seeing and hearing one in a hotel room that I had stayed in. I used it with the iPod Touch Gen2 but it looks like it will work with any iPod. The iPod dock is very nifty in that it can be adjusted with a little thumb wheel to the right width for you iPod. A lot better than the plastic inserts that most docking stations require.
The sound is excellent, much better than I would have expected. I think it is as good as the Bose but doesn't have the same (very) high volume. It is more than enough though to fill a large room with quality sound. The radio also works well.
I particularly like the alarm features. There are 2 alarms. You can set one of them to go off at the same time each day ( either 5 days a week - Monday to Friday or 7 days a week) and keep the other for spare. I have set mine to go off at the same time Monday to Friday and don't need to think about it unless it is a Bank Holiday!
I have bought two of these docking stations and would highly recommend them to anybody.

This was easy to set up and I find I can see the time without my glasses as the nu,ber are large. Not yet tried to CD but it should be the same as the Radio

I love the little remote control with this easy to use radio/alarm. It has a good range of sound so the alarm can be subtle for a gentle awakening.It has great sound if played loud too, it can fill the upstairs of my house with music.

I bought this Radio to keep me company whilst working on my boat.
It is great, the reception is good, and I have not had to wind it up yet!
The torch is pretty handy although I did not consider this when buying the radio.
The tuning is good and easy to use, I have not used the alarm but I would regard this as a handy feature rather than something to rely on.
The best bit, is that while I ma listening to it, I keep thinking that this isn't costing me anything! No batteries to worry about, and as we have been having some sunny weather, it sits there happily charging itself. This is by far the best product I have bought this year.

I love the radio and audio CDs. This is a particularly nice DAB radio / CD player. Not only is it easy to set up and get to the stations you like, you can swap between them easily with the neat hand control. The only problem with DAB is in my experience you either have good reception or dreadful reception and it seems to be affected by atmospheric conditions. Generally I am a DAB convert.

I must confess that I am an adult and I bought this for myself. I just didn't want any of those boring black or grey clock radios. Then I spotted this one! It has all the features I need--although I will probably refrain from using the coloured disco ball light. It is nice and sturdy and easy to operate, and it is colourful and bright. A real winner even for grownups!

Its refreshing to find out that these items are still being manufactured. Being of "senior years" one finds it impossible to get a grip with the new things like Ipods etc etc. Even CD can't bring the pleasure the tapes do as you can start where you left off. Long may tape Walkmans rule!

This product was received quickly with a small neat and clear instruction manual (not as big as an encyclopedia for a change!)
This fits neatly onto a small shelf but the "buttons" are big enough to negotiate with ease. I bought this to replace a clutter of aging HiFi equipment and this does the job perfectly - very satisfied.
